The protein ATP synthase uses the energy produced by the electron transport chain for the phosphorylation (adding a phosphate group to a molecule) of ADP to ATP.
ATP is ultimately produced by oxidative phosphorylation-the process by which enzymes in the cell oxidize nutrients. Depending on the rates of these respective processes, the level of a metabolite can be subject to large and rapid change during quenching. In the process, a chemical and electrical gradient is formed across the inner mitochondrial membrane as hydrogen ions are pumped out of the mitochondrial matrix and into the inner membrane space. Cellular processes are dynamic and the level of a particular metabolite at any one time will represent the balance of biosynthesis, biochemical transformation into other metabolites, degradation, transportation into and out of the cell, and sequestration into and out of storage forms.
CELLULAR PROCESSES SERIES
Through a series of reactions, the "high energy" electrons generated in the citric acid cycle are passed to oxygen. However, some prokaryotes have different metabolic pathways that are unique. Cellular respiration and photosynthesis are the most common pathways seen in cells. Importantly, individual organelles may be transported throughout the cell, and this essentially localizes entire subcellular processes to regions where they are. Only a few tools are currently capable of manipulating cellular events at.
Although their processes are different, they both either use or create energy. Remote control of cellular functions is a key challenge in biomedical research. This is carried out in autotrophic organisms (plants, red and brown algae and some bacteria). An example of a cellular process is photosynthesis. The electron transport chain is a series of protein complexes and electron carrier molecules found within the mitochondrial membrane in eukaryotic cells. Eukaryotes and prokaryotes depend on cellular metabolism to live and thrive. The cellular processes are all the mechanisms that are carried out within the cell and are aimed at guaranteeing the stability of the organism that they comprise.

Depending on the needs of the cells and functions, the rate of chemical reactions is either increased or decreased with numerous pathways synthesizing and breaking down cellular components.
